Accreditation and Memberships

The English Language Programs is a member of the AAIEP (American Association of Intensive English Programs) and UCIEP (Consortium of University and College Intensive English Programs).

The English Language Programs at the University of Pennsylvania is accredited by the Commission on English Language Accreditation (CEA) for the period of August 2006 through August 2016 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority concerning the quality of education or training offered by the English language institutions and programs it accredits.
