The International Business Communication for Professionals (IBCP) program helps working professionals improve the effectiveness and confidence with which they communicate in professional situations in English. IBCP integrates targeted skills into simulations based on current international business cases. The program is offered at an intermediate and advanced level.

Students must have at least 2 years of professional work experience and must have a language proficiency of CEFR level B1- (for Intermediate Speakers level) or B2 (for Advanced Speakers level). Intermediate Speakers must demonstrate level with a test score of TOEFL iBT of 57+, TOEFL PBT of 487+, IELTS of 5.5+, or TOEIC of 550+. Advanced Speakers must demonstrate level with a test score of TOEFL iBT of 74+, TOEFL PBT of 535+, IELTS of 6.0+, or TOEIC of 750+. Students without test scores should contact the ELP.
Please note: ELP does not issue the Form I-20 for the 2 week Intermediate Speakers IBCP program. Students must have the proper immigration status to enter the U.S. to attend this program.
