Evening Courses

Program Overview

Evening Courses offer diverse English language electives at a time convenient for busy professionals or others with full-time commitments during the day.

Evening courses are offered at three levels (high beginner, intermediate, and advanced) on a variety of topic areas, such as oral communication, pronunciation, grammar, and TOEFL and IELTS test preparation. These courses allow you to develop, practice, and receive feedback on specific language skills and strategies. You will strengthen your targeted skills through in-class activities and homework assignments.

Courses are typically held in Fisher-Bennett Hall, located at 3340 Walnut Street. Courses meet once or twice per week from 6:00-7:40pm. Evening courses do not carry University academic credit, but certificates are awarded for successful completion of courses.
