Elissa Tieyah
Director of Budget and Decision Support
Elissa Tieyah is Director of Budget and Decision Support for The School of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania. Reporting directly to the Vice Dean for Finance and Administration, Elissa has management responsibility for the School's Budget and for related analyses, projections and reports in support of the financial planning and decision-making for the School. With a staff of three professionals, the Office manages long-term budget submissions, oversees the preparation of detail annual budgets for all units of the School, provides supporting analyses in areas of financial and budgetary impact, develops models for projecting revenue and expense across broad categories, and works closely with the Vice Dean and others on budget and planning information needs.
Elissa began working at Penn in 2002 as a Budget/Financial Analyst for SAS. Elissa's previous work experience includes positions at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and at Boston University.
Elissa received her MBA from the University of Oklahoma and her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
