Affiliates and Visiting Fellows Program
Each year, the Center for Folklore and Ethnography offers a limited
number of appointments to colleagues who are doing post-doctoral
research and/or public folklore projects in the mid-Atlantic region.
The CFE also hosts visiting scholars funded through a variety
of sources, such as the Fulbright Fellowships. CFE Fellows enjoy
library priviledges at Penn, present their research at workshops
such as the ethnography roundtable, graduate seminars, and the
graduate student lunchtime speaker series, mentor graduate students
with shared interests, may contract with the Center to undertake
research for funded projects, and may use their affiliation with
the Center to raise funds for research projects.
