Workshop in Ethnographic Photography

Special Guests: Martha Cooper and Lyntha Eiler
Date and Location: 4 April 2003 (9am - 1pm), Logan Hall 402

On April 4, 2003, the Center for Folklore and Ethnography hosts two special guests, photographers Martha Cooper and Lyntha Eiler, for a day-long event on ethnographic photography. During this hands-on workshop, Cooper and Eiler will speak about their own photographic experiences and expertise and turn a critical eye towards the work of workshop participants. All students in attendance should come equipped with a camera for taking snaps (digital, disposable or otherwise) and questions for the day's moderators. Attendance at this event is limited, so please contact Joyce Roselle at jroselle@sas.upenn.edu to reserve your spot as soon as possible.
