This graduate seminar will explore issues in the study of women's culture as folklorists have encountered and theorized it in recent decades. We will pay special attention to folklorist' engagement with the theories of such leading feminist writers as Kristeva, Irigaray, Cixkous, and Merchant. Undergraduates by permission only.
