Leadership Events
Penn undergraduates have an opportunity to connect with some of today's most dynamic leaders by attending one of the three Fox Leadership Events (Forums, Leadership Lunches, Lessons in Leadership). These events are designed so that students can explore leadership in every area of human excellence, including politics, business, science, communications, religion, community service, entertainment and the arts.
Events range widely - from small, private sessions like those with leadership psychologist Gary Wenet, in which he challenged a group of students to construct their own individual leadership style - to larger forums, like that of Utah Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. (C '87) who said that his work as trade ambassador was particularly interesting because he was able to move China into the World Trade Organization and negotiate with India and Pakistan before and after Sept. 11, 2001.
During these events, students interact with the guests by participating in a Q&A session and meeting with the speaker at an informal reception that follows each presentation.
