PowerSpeak

Marie C. Wilson, President, The White House Project/Women's Leadership Fund discusses Gender and Political Audiences
Actor Henry Winkler poses with Fox students after a popular event.

A dynamic and successful leader needs the ability to communicate effectively in any venue, be it to a large audience or in a small group setting. In a classroom or in the boardroom, strong leaders have the ability to speak as well as present ideas - and themselves - persuasively, confidently and competently. Whether you have no experience in public speaking or just want to polish your communication skills, the Fox Program offers opportunities for students to develop and enhance these skills through the PowerSpeak workshop series. Then, through the Toastmasters and SpeakEasy series presented by the Fox Red and Blue Speaking Society, students practice creating solid arguments, delivering engaging presentations, conveying memorable first impressions and utilizing oral skills that motivate, persuade and inspire others.
