SAS Facilities Crew

The SAS Facilities Crew is ready to provide assistance with special event preparations, internal (within one building) moving or relocations, and

general departmental support services.

SAS Warehouse

The SAS Warehouse is operated as a no-fee furniture exchange depot.

If you have unneeded furniture or equipment in good (or at least serviceable) condition that might be useful elsewhere, please keep us in mind. We can arrange to remove your old furniture to be stored in our warehouse.

At this same time, we are limiting storage of departmental furnishings in the warehouse to a maximum of 60 days. After that time, we will either dispose

of or offer the furnishings to other departments.

There is no ongoing inventory of our holdings. If you are in need of furniture,

we can arrange for an on-site tour of the Warehouse. We can also make arrangements to have the items you selected delivered to your office.

SAS Vehicle Services

The School of Arts and Sciences currently has two 12-passenger vehicles

and two 7-passenger vehicles available for class trips and research related activities. Two panel vans are also available for special needs or for moving scientific equipment. Use of vehicles by groups not affiliated with SAS or for events not specifically related to class or research functions are approved

on a case-by-case basis. (vehicle loan policy)
