Erika Kontulainen, a fourth-year PhD student in Germanic Languages and Literatures, has been awarded a DAAD Research Scholarship for the academic year 2017-2018. She will conduct research for her dissertation on landscape and memory in German Realism at the University of Potsdam and its affiliated partners, including the Fontane Archive.
