GASWorks is the Gender and Sexuality Works in Progress Seminar open to faculty and graduate students. The primary aim of GASWorks is to provide a forum for faculty and graduate students to get feedback on their writing; it also provides a space for faculty and tudents working in different disciplines and schools to keep up with recent developments in the field and to discuss professional issues specific to working in an emergent field. The group is open to graduate students and faculty across the university, and also to members of the larger Philadelphia academic community.

Presenters normally provide papers in advance, which are then made available to participants through email. Each session usually begins with a 10-15 minutes informal introduction by the presenter; the rest of the time is taken up with discussion.

For all upcoming seminars, you must RSVP if you plan to attend.  Registration closes three days before the event is scheduled to take place.  To register for a seminar, please select an upcoming event from the list below and complete the registration form.
