Graduate Student Colloquium Series

The GSWS Graduate Student Colloquium is a monthly colloquium for graduate students interested in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies to share their work at the University of Pennsylvania.

2010-2011 marked the beginning of an interdisciplinary monthly graduate student colloquium for students working in all things women, gender, and sexuality studies at the University of Pennsylvania initiated by Melanie Adley, GSWS Graduate Associate and Ph.D. Candidate in Germanic Languages and Literatures. The colloquium allows graduate students to workshop parts of chapters, articles, essays, or to practice conference papers and presentations. Longer pieces are pre-circulated.

The colloquium is made possible thanks to generous financial support from the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program, the Departments of Comparative Literature, English, French, German, History, History of Art, Italian, and the Center for Global Women's Health.

The colloquium continues this year and will be coordinated by the GSWS Graduate Associate Sara Mourad (Annenberg). Please contact Sara Mourad for more information.
