Transocular Film/Event Series: New perspectives in transgender film, art and literature

Transocular is a new film and event series held at Penn in spring of 2013 that showcases and engages with new perspectives in transgender film, art and literature.

Please join us for experimental films and writings by transgender visual artists. Stay for a conversation with the filmmakers and the writers about harnessing art as transformative mode of language and social practice. The series is directed by Dr. Jeanne Vaccaro, Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Sexuality Studies.

This event series is generously supported by the Departments of English, Cinema Studies, and History of Art; LGBT Center; Penn Women's Center; Penn Humanities Forum
