Works-in-Progress Seminars

The Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies Program and the Alice Paul Center "Works-in-Progress" Seminar is a forum for Penn faculty to present and receive feedback on their work. Those who attend the seminar will receive a copy of the "work-in progress" ahead of time. At the session, two respondents speak briefly (5-10 minutes) about the paper and then the session will be opened for discussion. The idea is to keep the seminar informal.

All seminars are held at noon on Fridays, lunch is served, and RSVPs are required in order to plan lunch and in order for attendees to receive the paper.

For all upcoming seminars, you must RSVP if you plan to attend.  Registration closes three days before the event is scheduled to take place.  To register for a seminar, please select an upcoming event from the list below and complete the registration form.
