    GSWS Graduate Certificate Student SaraEllen Strongman Publishes in Feminist Theory

    SaraEllen Strongman, PhD Candidate in Africana Studies and 2016 GSWS graduate certificate recipient, has an article in the latest issue of the journal Feminist Theory. The article, titled "'Creating justice between us': Audre Lorde's theory of the erotic as coalitional politics in the women's movement," explores how interracial sex and/or sexual attraction might be an integral part of cross-racial feminist work.

    Janet Jakobsen and Christina Crosby: A Body Undone: Living on After Great Pain

    Event Description Coming Soon    Christina Crosby is a professor of English, Feminist, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Wesleyan University. She held a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for College Teachers and was a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. She is the author of The Ends of History: Victorians and the 'Woman Question' (1991) and has published essays and reviews in Victorian Studies, PMLA, College English, and elsewhere. In A Body, Undone: Living On After Great Pain, Crosby puts into words a broken body that seems beyond the reach of language and understanding.
