Works-in-Progress Seminars

The Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies Program and the Alice Paul Center "Works-in-Progress" Seminar is a forum for Penn faculty to present and receive feedback on their work. Those who attend the seminar will receive a copy of the "work-in progress" ahead of time. At the session, two respondents speak briefly (5-10 minutes) about the paper and then the session will be opened for discussion. The idea is to keep the seminar informal.

All seminars are held at noon at 3810 Walnut, lunch is served. RSVPs are required in order to plan lunch. Registration closes three days before the event is scheduled to take place. To register for a seminar, please select an upcoming event from the list below and complete the registration form. If registration is closed, please contact Luz Marin at

A copy of the paper will be made available on this website at least one week before the WIP Seminar.
