Romance Languages Grad Student Receives French Language Fellowship

Thomas Daniels, a graduate student in the Department of Romance Languages, was recently awarded the 2007 Walter J. Jensen Fellowship for French Language. This fellowship will support Daniels' doctoral research in Paris, where he will be studying original editions of the work of Henri Michaux, Francis Ponge and Michel Butor.
The Walter J. Jensens Fellowship for French Language, awarded by Phi Beta Kappa, is intended to help advance the study and teaching of French in the United States.
