Malcolm Gladwell
Calling him "a writer who manages to make his work as
relevant to CEOs as it is to soldiers," Time magazine named Malcolm
Gladwell one its 100 most influential people in 2005. Mr. Gladwell has
been a staff writer with The New Yorker since 1996. His 1999 profile of
American inventor and pitchman Ron Popeil won a National Magazine Award.
From 1987 to 1996, he was a reporter with the Washington Post, where he
covered business and science, and was NYC bureau chief. Mr. Gladwell is
the author of The Tipping Point: How Little Things Make a Big
Difference, Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking and Outliers:
The Story of Success, all of which were New York Times bestsellers. His
most recent book, What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures, is a selection
of his essays published in The New Yorker.
