Political Science Professor Wins Innovators Award

Diana Mutz, the Samuel A. Stouffer Professor of Political Science and Communication, recently received the 2007 Innovators Award. Mutz’s primary areas of research are public opinion, political psychology and mass political behavior with an emphasis on political communication. She serves as the Director of the Institute for the Study of Citizens and Politics at the Annenberg Public Policy Center.
The Innovators Award, which is presented by the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), is designed to recognize accomplishments in the fields of public opinion and survey research that occurred in the past ten years or that had their primary impact on the field during the past decade.
