Tukufu Zuberi: History Detective
Sociologist to
Appear on New PBS Television Series
Starting July 14, Tukufu Zuberi, sociology professor and director of the Center for Africana Studies, will be part of a team of four experts who solve historical mysteries in a new PBS television series, History Detectives. The team will use traditional investigative techniques, technology, and the mundane legwork of a gumshoe to track down facts and falsehoods behind local folklore, family legends, and some interesting objects. The ten-part series promises to yield some new and surprising insights about our nation’s past. Check local PBS listings for times.
