He is senior vice president for external relations at CSIS and is responsible for directing the Center’s media relations, congressional relations, large scale events, publications, Web site, marketing, and other external relations matters.

Merrill Csuri is Manager of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Secretariat of the United Nations Global Compact office in New York as well as Senior Advisor to the PRME Champions leadership group. Merrill has worked in sustainable tourism and public education related to science, natural history, and international affairs, most notably at the National Geographic Society and American Museum of Natural History. Merrill holds degrees in international relations and policy from the University of Pennsylvania and the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
