Jean Knight is a lecturer in the Department of Romance Languages that has been teaching courses in Latin American literature at Penn since 1999.  Her particular areas of interest and expertise within the field of Latin American literature include Andean authors and 20th century narrative. In addition to her literature courses, she teaches advanced language courses in Spanish, and directs the Penn-in-Buenos Aires summer study abroad program.  Thanks to her yearly trips to Argentina, she is becoming a rather accomplished tango dancer.
