How can I see my monthly payroll advice (stub)?
Monthly paid employees who receive their checks via direct deposit do not receive paper advices. The monthly pay advice can be accessed online at the employee self-service portal: U@Penn. Select the tab labeled General and click on “my pay” under the section heading Payroll and Tax. You will need your Penn key to log in and see your advice information.
Can I sign up for direct deposit online?
Yes! At the Penn Portal (U@Penn), choose the new option "Update Direct Deposit." You will be asked to log on using your Penn Key, then provide your birth date and the last four digits of your social security number. Follow the instructions provided from that point on, and your request will be processed. Please note that it will take 2-3 weeks (for weekly-paid employees) or one full month (for monthly-paid employees) for your electronic deposit to become complete. Weekly employees will begin to receive blue pay advices once their direct deposit has begun. Monthly employees will not receive pay advices once they are on direct deposit. (All employees may use the "My Pay" feature at the Penn portal to track their compensation.)
