Funding Opportunities

There are some funding opportunities available to our MMP students throughout their 2 years at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • There are partial tuition scholarships available to select first-year students acting as research assistants.
  • There are employment opportunities for second-year students working in the proton center performing quality assurance (QA) measurements.
  • There are partial tuition scholarships available to select second-year students acting as teaching assistants for select first-year courses.
  • In addition, we hope to establish a general Medical Physics Scholarship Fund over the next few years which will provide at least partial tuition assistance to all MMP students.

The Master of Medical Physics Program at the University of Pennsylvania has a distinguished group of faculty and students committed to maintaining the highest level of academic excellence. In addition, you will gain access to the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, part of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The Center, one of only six of its kind in the country, is open and treating patients.
