Environmental Geology

Students examine pond health in an Alpine ecosystem in Wyoming.


Students in this Applied Geosciences concentration will develop a thorough understanding of the functioning of the land, water, and air components of the environment as well as the mutual interactions of these components. Graduates would be employable by local, regional, and international environmental consulting firms, as well as government agencies and regulators, such as the EPA, USGS, State DEP, or local Water Department.
