International High School Students

For the past decade, high school students from around the world have enjoyed their first taste of college life by attending one of Penn's Summer High School Programs.  Whether you're interested in earning academic credit at an Ivy League university, gaining hands-on lab experience at a world-class research institution, or improving your English skills through intensive language immersion, we're sure you'll find a program that's just right for you! 

TOEFL Requirements

TOEFL scores are required for international applicants whose native language is not English. Students who attend an English-medium high school may substitute PSAT scores for TOEFL scores. To locate a testing site near you or schedule an exam, visit the TOEFL website. Please mail a copy of all scores to the address below.

Visas

International applicants will require a tourist visa (B-1 or B-2) to study in the United States. If you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, or from a visa waiver country you will not need a visa for this program.

Upon acceptance into the program our partner, Summer Discovery, will assist you in the visa application process.
