A Note to Parents

The Penn Summer High School Programs will give your bright, motivated, and responsible teen the opportunity to study and live in an Ivy League environment. The programs are designed to simulate an undergraduate freshman experience in a supportive, guided setting. Our specially trained residential and program staff members are always on hand to help your teen make the best use of his or her newfound independence.

Parents agree that one of the most rewarding aspects of this program is viewing the end result of the profound academic, social, and cultural growth students experience from participating:

“It was a wonderful and enriching experience for my daughter in every way. It gave a very nice balance between instruction and autonomy. I feel my daughter received maximum benefit from participating in this program and it would be my pleasure to recommend it to any of my friends.”
“We were extremely pleased with our son’s first college experience. He was enthused and impressed with the quality of the course and professor. It gave him a peek into a new world of education and has motivated him even more. Thank you for living up to your reputation!”
“Our daughter’s experience this summer was everything she (and we) hoped it would be. She came back filled with confidence, eager to go off to college, and disappointed that she still had two years of high school left. The courses were stimulating, as was the company of her fellow students. She made many friends she still sees or talks to. She also grew enormously as a result of the program—both intellectually and emotionally.”
