"On Campus" Housing
"On campus" housing is an option, although not guaranteed. University of Pennsylvania degree students receive first priority for available “on campus” housing rooms. When additional “on campus” housing space is available, the Housing office is pleased to offer this as an option for visiting and guest students.
IGSP students are encouraged to apply for “on campus” housing if interested: Housing for Students in the College of Liberal and Professional Studies (LPS).
While pricing for 2010-2011 rooms is not yet available (will be posted in mid-March on the above Housing link), last year rooms were in the $7,000 - $10,000 range for the academic year. Annual increases for housing costs typically range between 5 – 7%.
International House

International House is a safe, high-rise building just a few blocks from the University of Pennsylvania. International House, which is organized into suites that consist of ten single rooms and a common lounge, provides a friendly living experience for over 350 American and international students.
Daily Rates: $75 – single room w/shared bathroom, $100 – double room w/private bathroom, $130 – apartment
Monthly rates: $900 – single one month, $750-800 two months, $1030 - double one month, $995 - double two months, $1255 - apartment one month, $1230 - apartment two months.
All utilities included, rooms are furnished. Lower rates for long term leases. Must be full-time student, scholar, intern or professional trainee.

Prices range from $1050 to $1750 per month. Two month minimum. Amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, game room theatre with large screen TV and video game consoles, tanning salon, business center, housekeeping service, and bistro style dining.
Homestay

Homestay allows students to experience American culture in the warmth, variety, and spontaneity of an American home while having frequent, relaxed opportunities to practice English conversation.
