Peter Osorio

PhD student in Classics and ancient philosophy, Cornell University ‘20—expected

Education: 

Bachelor of Arts, high honors, Classical Studies, Economics,
Dartmouth College, '12

Prior to joining Penn's Post-Bacc, Peter completed an intensive summer school in Greek at University College Cork, Ireland. Peter is interested in the Hellenistic philosophies and their reception. His undergraduate thesis examined the role of Stoic physics in the philosophy of the 16th century humanist, Justus Lipsius. He also takes particular interest in the Senecan corpus, drama and Imperial Latin poetry.
