Pre-Health Core Studies
Certificate Option - CS
The Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies (CS) - will be awarded to "career-changing" students who complete a minimum of 12 CUs of undergraduate pre-health pre-requisite and elective course work at the University of Pennsylvania with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. In addition to the required course work, a minimum MCAT score of 30 or DAT score of 20 is required for the award of the Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies. Requirements for the award of the PBPH Core Studies Certificate must be completed within 2 years of enrolling in the Pre-Health Program.

Candidates for the Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies must complete the 12 CUs of pre-requisite courses for professional school admission:

Advanced Certificate Option - CS
The Advanced Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies will be awarded to "career-changing" students who have received the Core Certificate and have completed an additional 4 CUs of undergraduate advanced and elective course work at the University of Pennsylvania with a grade of B or better in each course and with a cumulative GPA of 3.5. In addition to the required course work, a minimum MCAT score of 30 or DAT score of 20 is required for the award of the Advanced Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies. Requirements for the award of the Advanced Certificate in PBPH Core Studies -must be completed within 1 year of receiving the PBPH core certificate.

Candidates for the Advanced Certificate in Post-baccalaureate Pre-Health Core Studies must also complete both of the following courses:
