Pre-Health Specialized Studies
Certificate Option - SS
The Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies (SS) will be awarded to "academic credential-enhancing" students who complete a minimum of 8 CUs of undergraduate pre-health and elective course work at the University of Pennsylvania with a grade of B or better in each course and with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. In addition to the required course work, a minimum MCAT score of 30, DAT score of 20, or GRE percentile scores of 65% verbal, 65% quantitative and 4.5 writing from an individual exam are required for the award of the Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies. Requirements for the award of the Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies must be completed within two years of enrolling in the Pre-Health Program.

Advanced Certificate Option - SS
The Advanced Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies (SS) will be awarded to "academic record-enhancing" students who have received the Core Certificate in SS and have completed an additional 4 (CUs) of undergraduate pre-health elective course work (see list above) at the University of Pennsylvania with a grade of B or better in each course and with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. In addition to the required course work, a minimum MCAT score of 30, DAT score of 20, or GRE percentile scores of 65% verbal, 65% quantitative and 4.5 writing from an individual exam are required for the award of the Advanced Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies Certificate. Requirements for the award of the Advanced Certificate in PBPH Specialized Studies must be completed within one year of receiving the Certificate in PBPH Specialized Studies (SS).
