The Penn Bookstore is pleased to serve as the University’s academic regalia provider for all current and alumni graduates as well as participating faculty, marshals, and trustees.
Obtaining your academic regalia at the Penn bookstore
Academic regalia is required for degree candidates at both LPS Graduation and Penn Commencement. Graduates can purchase and receive their regalia at the Penn Bookstore during “Grad Fair”– March 20 - 22, 2024. The regalia will be yours to own as a commemorative keepsake.
All regalia will be distributed on the second level of the Penn Bookstore near the textbook department. You will have the opportunity to meet with staff members regarding any questions, such as ensuring you are selecting the correct fit. Other graduation-related products and special promotions will also be available during that week.
Regalia will still be available at the Penn Bookstore after March 24, 2024, although sizing becomes more limited, especially the closer you get to Commencement.
Bachelor's and master's graduates
Purchase price (cap, gown, hood, and tassel)
- Bachelor’s – $96 plus tax
- Master’s – $105 plus tax
Ordering your regalia online
You may order your regalia online and have your regalia shipped directly to you. To order, visit the Grad Express website. You must place your order by March 31, 2024, to receive the regalia by Commencement. Shipping fees apply.
