Academic resources

Bachelor of Fine Arts students are members of Penn’s vibrant intellectual community, with access to a wide range of academic and cultural resources, such as:

  • The Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships provides information and support for students interested in conducting research and applying for competitive fellowships.
  • Weigel Information Commons supports collaborative learning and group activities using the latest technologies.
  • Lectures, readings and discussions at Kelly Writers House
  • The Tutoring Center offers undergraduate Penn students a variety of free and convenient services to supplement their academic experience.
  • The Weingarten Learning Resources Center provides free, confidential, professional instruction in skills such as academic reading, writing, study strategies and time management at The Office of Learning Resources, and free, confidential, comprehensive, professional services and programs for students who self-identify with disabilities to ensure equal academic opportunities and participation in University-sponsored programs at The Office of Student Disabilities Services.
  • Penn Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) offers a wide range of services including: individual and group counseling and therapy, crisis intervention, structured workshops, psychological testing, medication reviews and consultation.
