Congratulations on your acceptance to Penn's College of Liberal and Professional Studies! Now that you have accepted our offer of admission, the following steps will establish you as a Penn student.

  • Step 1: If you haven't already, set up your PennKey & password and your SAS Email (this includes updating your Penn Directory listing)

  • Step 2: Contact Student Financial Services about financing your Penn education.

  • Step 3: Complete the Pre-Orientation for your program.

  • Step 4: Contact your program to set up an advising appointment. This is not required for non-degree students. 

       *BA students should also review the process for transferring credit before meeting with an advisor.
  • Step 5: Register for courses using the LPS Guide to Registering for Courses.

  • Last steps: Before beginning classes, check your registration with Penn InTouch and get your PennCard. In addition to picking up your PennCard at the Bookstore, it can also be ordered through Campus Express. To connect with other LPS students, visit the LPS Student Association's website at
