- COMM 402-301: Arab Uprisings: Local and Global Representations (Kraidy; Thursday 1:30-4:30)
- HIST 640-401: Consumer Culture in the Middle East and North Africa (Kashani-Sabet; Tuesday 1:30-4:30; undergrads need permission)
- NELC 338-401: Age of Sultans 1100-1500 (Cobb; Wednesday 2-5)
The following is a pre-approved list of courses that can be taken to fulfill the research seminar requirement for the Modern Middle Eastern Studies major. Other courses may be counted; please email the Center with any questions about a course that does not appear on this list. Keep in mind that not all courses are offered every year, that new courses might not yet appear on this list, and that some "Topics In" courses may change course content from year to year.
