Affiliated Faculty

Although there is no Modern Middle Eastern Studies department at Penn, a number of faculty in other departments of the University - from Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations to Anthropology to Communications to Law - are associated with our program. They teach courses counting towards the major and minor, conduct research related to the Modern Middle East, and give lectures based on their personal expertise.
