About Penn Chamber

Penn Chamber is the umbrella ensemble for a variety of chamber groups, of which there are approximately 20, ranging from string quartets to brass choirs. The department provides coaching sessions with professional musicians from the Philadelphia area. Chamber music can be taken for credit if all the members of a group have registered.

In addition to Music Department-sponsored performances, members of Penn Chamber often have many performance opportunities around the Penn campus. Performances are held in Amado Recital Hall and Rose Recital Hall.
