About the Jazz Combos

The newest ensemble within the Department of Music, the Jazz Combos made their debut in 2005. Students are assigned a small group, and through coachings with professional instructors develop ensemble and improvisational skills in a variety of jazz styles. Members of these combos not only perform in concerts sposored by the Department of Music, they also often have the opportunity to play for other university functions.
