Daedalus String Quartet

The Department of Music is pleased to have the Daedalus Quartet as its ensemble-in-residence for the 2009-2010 academic year. Their residency is made possible through a generous gift from Andrea Mitchell (CW '67).

Fall 2009 Daedalus at Penn happenings:

The Daedalus Quartet will be teaching Music 12, a seminar offered as part of the performance curriculum. This weekly seminar will explore chamber music from the past and present through class discussions of both performance and analytical aspects of the music led by the Daedalus Quartet.  The chamber groups will prepare for a final performance at the end of the semester as well as a paper/presentation. (Audition required)
