On Friday, March 25th, 2005 several students interviewed Philadelphia jazz singer Mother Dot as part of a field research study for World Music class at the University of Pennsylvania. During the interview, the team learned about the culture of jazz in Philadelphia as well as Mother Dot herself from her recollections and the anecdotes that she shared.
