SAS Appoints Vice Dean for Finance and Administration
Dean Rebecca W. Bushnell has appointed Kathleen Bramwell as Vice Dean for Finance and Administration in the School of Arts and Sciences, effective December 10, 2012. Bramwell will be responsible for the financial and administrative infrastructure that supports the School's research and education programs, with oversight of finance, budget, human resources, facilities, computing and research administration.
Bramwell comes to SAS from the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM), where she has served as Executive Director of Finance since 2004, managing a budget in excess of $900 million. Her career at PSOM spans 25 years, with fiscal roles in programs including the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, the Department of Genetics, and the Renal Electrolyte and Hypertension Division of the Department of Medicine. “Kathy brings to SAS a deep knowledge of school-level financial and capital planning, research administration, and the broader operations of the University,” said Dean Bushnell. “She is an outstanding addition to our senior administrative team.”
Bramwell holds a BBA degree summa cum laude from Wharton and an MBA from Holy Family University.
