PhD Candidate Hajer Al-Faham receives 2017 Muslim Women's Justice Award through the Islamic Scholarship Fund.    

Professor Michael C. Horowitz discussed his research on the proliferation of weapons in multiple outlets last week, including a review of North Korea's nuclear success beyond the framework of tradional proliferation theories in the War On The Rocks and the spread of weaponized drones to militant groups in Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. He was also interviewed in The Dead Prussian Podcast about his book The Diffusion of Military Power.     

Professor Jeffrey Green's book, The Eyes of the People, is the topic of a newly released German edited volume, Okulare Demokratie: Der Bürger als Zuschauer, which includes ten papers on ocular democracy.   

At the American Political Science Association's 2017 Annual Meeting, PhD candidate Patricia Posey received the Byran Jackson Dissertation Research on Minority Politics Award. The award recognizes the outstanding scholarship by a graduate student in the area of race and urban politics.     

Professor Diana Mutz's book, In Your Face Politics, received the Doris Graber Award for the best Book on Political Communication in the last 10 years. She is the first ever two-time winner of the award.
