For the third year in a row, the Beta Tau Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at Penn, under the guidance of Dr. Eileen Doherty-Sil, has received one of the national Best Chapter Awards for 2016-2017 from the American Political Science Association.     

Professor Guy Grossman has joined the editorial board of the Journal of Experimental Political Science (JEPS), a journal of the American Political Science Association (APSA).    

Professor Jeffrey Green has been appointed the director of the newly endowed Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy, which will continue the work of the Penn Program on Democracy, Citizenship, and Constitutionalism.    

On WHYY's Radio Times, Professor Michael C. Horowitz discussed the pathway to finding peace with North Korea.    

Professor Nancy Hirschmann was interviewed in Political Science Now as the 2017 ACLS Fellowship Recipient. She discussed her latest book project on freedom and disability, the value of interdisciplinary research, and advice for junior scholars in political science.
