Research:

My research interests include theoretical studies and modelling of solar-energy related phenomena such as the Bulk Photovoltaic Effect (BVPE) which arises from the lack of inversion symmetry in the materials' crystal structure as well as computational design of new materials for efficient solar energy harvesting. I also have a strong interest in thermoelectric and semiconducting materials from both, theoretical and experimental perspectives, including the exploration of new properties / phenomena arising at the nanoscale.
