Course Description: 

The contributions of basic sciences (neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurochemistry, and neuropharmacology) to an understanding of behavior and behavioral disorders will be covered and important psychiatric disorders will be discussed, primarily from the viewpoint of their biological aspects. Emphasis will be placed on critical evaluation of research strategies and hypotheses. Some seats in this course have been reserved for LPS Pre-Health Program students and the remainder have been reserved for SAS College students.  If you would like to join the wait list for this course please email lps@sas.upenn.edu.  Course must be taken for a grade.
