Note for Penn Students About Studying Abroad
Penn Summer Abroad programs are faculty-led and offer Penn undergraduate courses that are taught abroad during the summer for Penn credit. The programs are sponsored by departments in the School of Arts and Sciences and administered by Penn's College of Liberal and Professional Studies (LPS).
Penn undergraduates wishing to participate in a non-Penn summer abroad program and receive credit at Penn must obtain prior approval from the appropriate department and apply for credit away using the External Course Approval Tool (EXCAT).
