Penn Summer for International Students

The University of Pennsylvania (known informally as Penn) welcomes international students from abroad and international students studying at other US universities to Penn Summer programs. Through Penn Summer programs you can:

  • Experience the academic excellence and vibrant intellectual community at an Ivy League University
  • Earn college credit and an official Penn transcript
  • Study and make friends with academically talented students from Penn and other US universities
  • Learn from top faculty in small discussion-based classes
  • Explore one of America’s most historic cities

Current Penn International Students

If you are currently in a degree program at the University of Pennsylvania, you can simply register for courses using the Penn-In-Touch system:

International Students already studying at another United States institution

Students who are already in the United States and studying on an F-1 Visa and have not completed the degree program their visa was issued for can go follow the visiting student registration process for Penn Summer Sessions.

International undergraduates currently studying in their home country
