Advising resources

Current Penn students should consult with home school advising offices during the summer regarding matters of registration changes and degree planning. Students can take advantage of advising resources during the summer term in the same manner as during the fall and spring. Before enrolling in summer courses, it is highly recommended that a consultation is made with your academic advisor regarding your intended coursework to ensure adequate degree progress. For registration changes including late drops, withdraws, grade type changes, and petitions, current Penn undergrad students should work with their home school.

Registration for incoming Penn first-year students

Incoming Penn first-year students must complete and submit the Penn First-Year Registration Form available below, as well as submit a copy of their Penn acceptance letter. Students should contact the advising office of the Penn undergraduate school to which they have been admitted to discuss their decision to enroll since advisor approval is required on the form. Once the form is signed by your advisor and submitted to the LPS office (email: lps@sas.upenn.edu), your record is set up, and you will receive an email confirmation with information regarding the registration process.
