Student Theatre Arts Board (STAB)

The Student Theatre Arts Board is the undergraduate advisory board for Theatre Arts, representing theatre majors and minors. The aim of the organization is to promote a community within Theatre Arts and to serve as liaison between the student body and the Theatre Arts Faculty. STAB members support the program through their work in production, publicity, communications, and the planning of both theatrical workshops and social activities. Among the events traditionally run by STAB are First Fridays, opening nights, as well as gatherings to welcome students at the beginning of each year and to celebrate the end of each semester.

The most important role of the Student Theatre Arts Board, however, is to meet regularly with faculty to discuss course offerings, production decisions, and to provide a forum for student input in the running of the program.
